Emma Watson to Transfer From Brown

A spokeswoman for Harry Potter star Emma Watson says she will be transferring from Brown University to another higher education institution.

Emma announced last month she was taking a hiatus at Brown, but has denied reports that she "bullied out" of the Rhode Island university.

Her rep said Saturday that Watson, who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter series, decided to pursue a different course not offered at Brown.




She added that despite the decision to transfer, the star "has absolutely loved her time at Brown" and made a lot of good friends there.


Watson has recently taken time out of her studies to focus on her movie career. She has said that her first days in college were difficult.

The rep did not identify the university Watson, who stars in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2 this July, will be transferring to.

Everything's coming together for the Royal Wedding.


With just four days to go until the big day, Kate Middleton's bridal dress preparation is all wrapped up. The wedding gown has been completed.



"Kate will have no more fittings," a palace source says of the dress the world will see April 29. "The next time the dress goes on is Friday morning!"





Just who designed that historic dress remains the most closely guarded secret in all of England. Last Thursday, British fashion designer Sophie Cranston insisted that rumors are "not true" that she whipped up the frock herself.

Kate Middleton, who has shed some serious weight of late to fit into the dress, loves Cranston's label, and recently wore a Libelula coat.

Remaining contenders include Sarah Burton, the elegant, whimsical creative director of Alexander McQueen, the late Princess Diana's favorite Bruce Oldfield and boho-chic designer Alice Temperley, among other notable names.

The UK's Daily Mail even says Middleton designed the dress herself. The only thing we know for sure? Prince William's bride will look stunning.

Jessica Simpson Sets Up Prenup, "Bonus Plan" For Eric Johnson Before Wedding

It's good to be Mr. Jessica Simpson, but not THAT good.

Don't get us wrong. Eric Johnson, who will wed the singer/designer this year, worked out a prenup that guarantees him some cash, and he gets to put it to Jessica Simpson in the meantime, so he's living well. Just not THAT well.

According to sources, Jessica's billion dollar brand is being closely guarded, and Eric's compensation if they ever split up will work out as such:




BIG WINNER: Eric has some serious assets now. Look at those.

"Eric is on what you might call a vesting plan," said an insider.

"He'll get $500,000 as a wedding present. Then, each anniversary, he'll get another $200,000. If he and Jessica make it to five years, he'll get an additional incentive $500,000 bonus - and a $1 million bonus if they make it to 10 years."

On second thought, he's doing DAMN well. Of course, if he's gonna be married to her 10 years, he'll probably stay married to her, so it's moot.

You have to wonder, though, what Jessica is really protecting here. Is she guarding her own fortune, or essentially paying him to stay married?

Hunger Games Casting Rumor: Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket?

Elizabeth Banks has been rumored for the part of Effie Trinket in the upcoming film adaptation of The Hunger Games, according to new reports.

A buzzed-about cast already features Jennifer Lawrence as lead character Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta and Liam Hemsworth as Gale.

The rumor of Banks as Effie, a flaky bureaucrat who escorts her district's young death-match contestants to their fate, was first reported by Variety.







Lionsgate would not confirm whether Banks will be joining the film, based on the bestselling young-adult novel (the first in a hit trilogy) by Suzanne Collins.

The Hunger Games takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, one boy and one girl from each district are chosen to fight to the death in a televised event.

Banks has already taken on one huge new role this year: Mom. She and hubby Max Handelman welcomed a son, Felix, by gestational carrier in March.

Demi Lovato: Cutting Herself Since Age 11!

We've known Demi Lovato is a "cutter," but the recent revelation that she began to slit her wrists and mutilate herself at age 11 is startling.

Now 18, Demi opened up to 20/20 about her recent stint in a treatment center, where she was treated for cutting, bulimia and emotional issues.

Cutting is "a way of expressing my own shame, of myself, on my own body," according to Demi, who adds she's been overeating since age eight.





Demi Lovato has also experienced - and been shaped by - bullying.


"I've spoken openly about being bullied throughout the past few years," she says. "But one thing that I've never been able to feel comfortable talking about was the effects that it had on my life, afterward.



I didn't know why they were being so mean to me. And when I would ask them why, they would just say, 'Well, you're fat." Her torment turned into a lifelong disease, and one dangerous habit after another. "I developed an eating disorder, and that's kind of what I've been dealing with ever since," she said. "I was matching the inside to the outside." "And there were some times where my emotions were just so built up, I didn't know what to do," Demi Lovato says of spiraling out of control.

"The only way that I could get instant gratification," she chillingly notes, "was through an immediate release, and taking it out on myself." During the interview, Lovato also says she takes "100 percent, full responsibility" for attacking her back-up dancer Alex Welch last year: "I feel horrible, [She] was my friend." Lovato says she hopes her story can "open up the eyes of so many young girls" who are fighting the same issues. We hope it does, too.

Kim Kardashian Irate Over Turkish Cosmo Cover

Kim Kardashian is reportedly very upset that a photo of her was used on the cover of Turkey's edition of Cosmopolitan magazine this month.

Her objections stem from her Armenian heritage.

It is a widely-held belief that Turkey was responsible for acts of genocide against the Armenian people in the early part of the 20th Century.

Kim Kardashian, an Armenian-American who has been vocal about the genocide, did an international photo shoot recently that went to various magazines.

That included several owned by Cosmopolitan, but she didn't know it would end up on the Turkish version of the mag, and she's quite upset about this.

Sources say Cosmo let Kim's people know which international outlets of the magazine would use her picture, but never mentioned Turkey to Kim or her reps.

Kim would not have approved the use of her pic in the Turkish version, according to sources close to her, and it's particularly upsetting this time of year.

April 24, which happens to also be Easter Sunday this year, is the day Armenians commemorate the genocide, and comes just weeks after this release.

Britney Spears-Nicki Minaj Tour: It's On!

After extensive talks, Nicki Minaj has officially joined Britney Spears' upcoming summer tour, replacing Enrique Iglesias as the star's opening act.

A source close to the 26-year-old Minaj confirmed to E! that she's aboard and tour organizers expect the tandem should be a big concert draw.

More so than the Spanish crooner who pulled out last month? Probably.






Indeed, the choice of the Trinidad and Tobago-born hip-hop diva is probably for the best, given how foolish Iglesias' camp just made Ms. Spears look.

Vanessa Hudgens on Nude Pic Leaks: Just Silly

Vanessa Hudgens is looking forward, not backward.


Despite the seemingly annual leak of nude photos of her that took place last month, the 22-year-old tells the L.A. Times she refuses to let it get her down.

"It's just silly because I'm a very present person, and that's so in the past," she said. "The fact that somebody keeps bringing up the past is just selfish."



"I mean, it sucks. I already released a statement the first time it happened. It's just unfortunate that it keeps reminding people about the past, not the present."


Hudgens credits The Four Agreements, a self-help book penned by a New Age spiritualist, for helping her overcome the latest racy photo scandal.

"It has honestly changed me, almost," Hudgens said. "You really have to stay strong, because times get tough. Especially in this business."

"It's a dog-eat-dog world. There's so many amazing actresses who got taken advantage of. A lot of women get walked all over on by not standing up for themselves, and that's just not what I'm about," she continued.

"I'm figuring myself out now as a young adult more than I ever have. It's like my eyes are opening and I'm awakening to controlling my future."



Vanessa has met with the FBI over the pics' release.

Despite the unauthorized release of the photos, the Sucker Punch actress said she isn't afraid to flaunt her gorgeous figure in risque costumes on film.

"A woman's body is a beautiful thing," the ex-girlfriend of Zac Efron reasoned. "There's no reason we shouldn't, like, be our best in our costumes."

Lopez Shocked by Idol Vote

Jennifer Lopez has expressed shock over the fact that American Idol judge favorite, Pia Toscano has been voted off. Lopez called into Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Friday morning to say;

“She was one of the most talented singers we had,” Lopez also said “I’m still shocked.”

Lopez went onto say that she can’t understand why Toscano was voted off. And she’s certainly not alone, when Toscano’s name was announced as the one to be eliminated the audience’s reaction was to shout “no”.

The other judges also expressed their surprise at the vote. Randy Jackson said ‘I’m with Jennifer, all in shock. You were one of the best singers in this.’

But Steven Tyler went further, telling America that their “lack of passion was unforgivable.” Twitter also had a rush of messages expressing the same outrage and shock at the news. So where did all the votes come from when there was such collective outrage at the results.

Tina Fey is Pregnant Again!

Tina Fey has reportedly revealed that she is 5 months pregnant with her second child. Fey already has a daughter, Alice, with her husband, composer Jeff Richmond. Fey announced her news while taping ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ she was on the show to promote her new book ‘Bossypants’.

Saturday Night Live introduced us to Tina Fey and her comedy. Now after years of success with creating, writing and starring in her multiple award winning comedy series ’30 Rock’ she has become a very familiar face indeed.

In her new book ‘Bossypants’ Fey writes about the experience of having her first child, and the affect it had on her, especially in helping her with leadership in her show’s writing rooms. But she also writes openly about how she agonized over whether to have a second child, in her book she writes;

“I debate the second-baby issue when I can’t sleep,” she writes. “Should I? No. I want to. I can’t. I must. Of course not. I should try immediately.”

Rumors About Madonna’s Charity Are False

Madonna has spoken out to squash recent rumors that have been spreading across the tabloids about her charity’s efforts to build a school for girls in Malawi. Her publicist Liz Rosenberg has spoken to Us Magazine to state that recent rumors about the project falling apart are “wild and totally false”. As are rumors claiming that Madonna and her charity, Raising Malawi, are being investigated by the FBI and the IRS.

“It is unfortunate that people have chosen to say things about Raising Malawi and Madonna that are not true,” Rosenberg adds “Madonna remains committed and focused on what matters: helping the children of Malawi.”

There have been accusations made against the now-former executive director Phillippe van de Bossche about misuse of expenses. And It ‘s true that there have been changes in the schools leadership and the original plan has been reworked.

This is very good news, as Madonna was quoted to say herself during March this year “There is a real education crisis in Malawi. Sixty-seven percent of girls don’t go to secondary school, and this is simply unacceptable”

Charlie Sheen delivered a live performance in Cleveland last night that echoed that city's motto. Indeed, according to fans there, the actor rocks.

Following a disastrous opening night in Detroit, followed by an improved tour stop in Chicago, Sheen exited his most recent night on stage to a standing ovation.

Ryan Murphy Makes Up with Kings of Leon

Elton John recently referred to Kings of Leon as "assholes" and told them to "chill out" over their refusal to allow Glee to cover their single "Use Somebody" on an episode.

But series creator Ryan Murphy no longer has such harsh words for the band.

A few months after the producer and drummer Nathan Followill got really personal (the latter made a few digs at Murphy's sexuality), Murphy has released the following statement:




I support artists and what they choose to do... I think Kings of Leon are cool as shit. The Foo Fighters are brilliant. We'd love to do one [of] their songs, if they were ever interested. But if it's not their thing, then OK. I personally wish them luck, will still listen to their music.

I'm really proud of the fact that we can introduce songs to younger kids or their parents because I'm the biggest music fan. The show is about the love of performing and arts education - things I think are very special.

Case closed, we guess. Glee returns with a new episode on April 19.

LeAnn Rimes caught considerable flak for her appearance at the NCAA title game last night, and did not mince words firing back at critics on Twitter.

Rimes, who recently called a truce with Brandi Glanville, now has other detractors to focus on - those who said she's looking way too thin lately.

"To those who have to turn to other's lives and judge with no real knowledge of how anyone lives, you can you know what!" she posted Tuesday.

Angelina Jolie Visits Tunisia, Riot Ensues

Angelina Jolie paid a visit to Tunisia this week. Unfortunately, this sparked some unrest near the Libyan border, where a crowd of refugees wreaked havoc.

"The people were beyond excited to see her," says a witness, until it went awry.

There were thousands of refugees screaming her name and chanting. The crowd was closing in on her and her security detail; it was intense."




For safety reasons, the actress and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador was forced to cancel half her visit, which included plans to visit a Moroccan hospital.


Before the commotion, she spoke with refugees who fled the fighting in Libya. Tunisia has received more than half of the outflow from the war-torn country.

Despite the upset, Jolie didn't lose sight of her mission.

"The international community has done well to reinforce Tunisia's remarkable relief effort," she said in a statement excerpted by the UN official website.

"But with 2,000 people still crossing each day, we cannot let the funding dry up and we need to sustain the momentum," Angelina Jolie said.

Kendra Wilkinson Brings the Sexy on Dancing With the Stars

Kendra Wilkinson was in her element last night.


While she was uncomfortable at first acting sexy with Louis Van Amstel in rehearsal (a dubious claim from the former Girls Next Door star) she got over it.

Len felt that there was some "unnecessary gyrating," but was still impressed with her improvement in footwork. Bruno, meanwhile, felt it was hot and arousing.

Hey, why mince words? "There is nothing wrong with a good stripper," the judge added, encouragingly. It was strong technically, as well, earning 23 points.

Petra Nemcova Waltzes With a Purpose

Having survived the 2004 tsunami that claimed her fiance's life, and in the wake of the tragedy in Japan earlier this year, Petra Nemacova almost quit DWTS.

Instead, the supermodel said she's going Dancing With a Purpose.

To the music of "You Raise Me Up," which she listened to after revisiting the areas hit by the tsunami, she and Dmitry Chaplin waltzed to a tie for the lead (with Hines Ward) last night. Bruno says she danced like an angel. We won't argue:

Britney Spears' music video for "Till The World Ends" doesn't drop until tomorrow, but the Spears Marketing Machine leaked a 30-second teaser to hold us over.


The second single from Femme Fatale, following "Hold It Against Me," "Till The World Ends" has been heralded by many Spears fans as her best track in years.



It's waaay better than HIAM, in THG's opinion. We can only hope the video measures up to the song, a thoroughly catchy Britney hit. Here's the video tease:

Kids Choice Awards 2011 Winners: Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, The Black Eyed Peas & More

To the surprise of no one, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry were among the big winners in Nickelodeon's 2011 Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
More than 200 million votes were cast to honor the best in kids' entertainment.
The show featured a bevy of entertainers, a variety of comedic skits, enough shrieks to deafen the average person and a 7,600-gallon vat of slime.

Katy Perry won Favorite Female Singer, Justin Bieber took home Favorite Male Singer, and The Black Eyed Peas won Favorite Musical Group.

Among those honored was Justin Timberlake, who accepted Nickelodeon's "The Big Help Award" for his charitable work and philanthropy.

Favorite Movie Actor and Movie Actress? Johnny Depp and Miley Cyrus. This is the last time those two will be mentioned in the same breath.

Other winners in the TV field included iCarly, American Idol, SpongeBob SquarePants, Dylan Sprouse and Selena Gomez. Congrats to all!

Lily Collins Cast as Snow White

In real life, Lily Collins has already found her prince. She's dating Taylor Lautner.


On the big screen, though, the daughter of music legend Phil Collins will be waiting for one, as she's been cast as Snow White in Relativity Media's upcoming movie based on the Brothers Grimm story.





Collins will appear opposite Julia Roberts (as the evil stepmother) and Armie Hammer (as the aforementioned prince) in this "action-comedy" retelling of the classic tale, set for a June 2012 release.



There's actually another Snow White movie in the works and it also has a Twilight connection: Kristen Stewart has landed the lead role in Snow White and the Huntsman. Charlize Theron will also star.

Lindsay Lohan Rehab 911 Call: You Gotta Hear It!

This 911 tape offers new insight into the argument that went down between Lindsay Lohan and Betty Ford Center staff member Dawn Holland last December.
Holland claims she busted Lindsay and two other girls jumping a wall (yes, really) at Betty Ford around 1 a.m. December 12, after their rehab-imposed curfew.
During the 911 call, Lindsay and Dawn were both on the line on separate phones (yes, really). You know the backstory, now hear it for yourself ...



When Holland, who has since been fired by BF, tried to make the train wreck take a breathalyzer, she says "Lindsay Lohan pushed me and hit me with the phone."


Dawn claims the girls Lindsay was with were drunk, "reeking of alcohol."


During the call, Dawn claims she grabbed the phone to talk to the dispatcher, only to have Lindsay rip the phone away, spraining Dawn's wrist in the process.

Thus the allegations of assault that Dawn made. The Riverside County D.A. took its time investigating, but declined to prosecute Lindsay over the incident.

Lindsay Lohan believes the 911 call of the Betty Ford incident backs her version of what went down with Dawn all along, and that she's been vindicated.

She'd already been cleared by the D.A., which is all that really matters, but this is LiLo. Let her celebrate any small victory she can lay claim to, right?

Lohan says Dawn was "rude," "aggressive" and "inappropriate" and that the tape proves she was only after money from the start. Not a huge stretch.

Very early in the call Dawn says, "Get ready to be sued."


Lindsay may have won this round of legal battles, but there are bigger ones just ahead. She faces trial for grand theft (the necklace heist) this month.

Candice Swanepoel Decrees: I Am Happy and Healthy!

In an odd reversal of a celebrity defending her body type, Candice Swanepoel has gone on record as saying she does not have to gain any weight.

The Victoria's Secret model is at the center of controversy this week because she looked downright emaciated during a photo op in Las Vegas, but she tells People Magazine:

"I am healthy and happy. I'm heartened to know how much everyone cares about me, but in this case, everything is normal and good."



At the poolside event on Wednesday, the 22-year old attributed her thin physique to diet, stress and workouts.

Adam Lambert Creates Wasted Ruckus at Lady Gaga Birthday Party

Did Adam Lambert really pull a Christina Aguilera this week?


Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton called in to the Morning Dish radio program yesterday and says he was present at Lady Gaga's 25th birthday party Sunday night, serving as a witness when the former American Idol finalist showed up "beyond drunk" and was asked to leave.


He was "super sloppy embarrassingly drunk," Hilton told the hosts.



Lambert reportedly wasn't even invited to the bash. He attended as a guest of the Scissor Sisters, who have been opening on tour for the artist.


A fellow party goer says Lambert was pounding on the walls and "acted like an animal. He kept jumping up on the tables and chairs and screaming. When they brought the cake out he tried to smear it in Gaga's face and put a doll from the cake in her mouth!"

Gaga eventually asked security to escort Adam away. He acknowledged his behavior on Twitter later in the week, writing on Wednesday:

"My hand still hurts. LoL. Was trying for celebratory gesture 4 gaga's B- piñata style...instead my fist is all bruised and la cita has a hole in the ceiling. #sloppy."

Jersey Shore Cast to MTV: Pay Up, Suckaz!

As we know, the Jersey Shore cast likes to screw anything that moves.


This week, though, they're putting the screws to MTV, refusing to renew their contracts and potentially holding up Season 4 'til they get more cash money.

Sources say the gang knows Jersey Shore Season 4 in Italy could be the last go-'round and wanna get paid now before the (really long) 15 minutes end.

Showing surprising self-awareness, the stars realize the joyride that began in late '09 might be coming to an end and want to milk MTV while they still can.

Another disputed point, on top of salary per episode, is the the number of personal appearances, which can pay up to $40,000 a pop but which MTV restricts.

The network is adamant about limiting that kind of exposure from the cast, but the guidos and/or guidettes wanna jump on dat cash like grenades at Karma.

So far, only Ronnie Magro has signed. Could be a lonely trip to Italy for Ron-Ron if the rest don't get on board fast. Filming is supposed to start this month.

Thia Megia and Naima Adedapo React to American Idol Elimination

It was the end of an impressive, talented run for Thia Megia and Naima Adedapo on American Idol last night. The singers were both eliminated, as the show cuts its number of finalists down to nine.



How did they react to the news?


Backstage, shortly after hearing her name called by Ryan Seacrest, Thia told Entertainment Weekly she was proud of her song choice ("Daniel," dedicated to her brother, which she said made him "cry) and that she has a lot to offer the music world.

I can do “so much more than just slower songs and ballads," Megia said. "In the future, I see me as being my own artist and definitely not a ballad singer!”

Adedapo, meanwhile, says she wasn't surprised to be eliminated because she knew turning "I'm Still Standing" into a reggae song was a huge risk. But...

"rRggae is a part of me,” she said. “It’s a part of who I am and a part of my culture. For me, it would’ve been tragic to do an Elton John song just like Elton John and then get cut, versus showing who I am creatively as an artist and getting cut happy about the choice that I made.”
